how do i putmusic on ym xbox without plugging my ipod into the xbox and playig it as an external source?EASY if your ethernet is in ur comp or adapter go to you comp and there is a lil tv Symbol next to the time with a Modem or game system of some sort anyways click on that and it should ask you if you want to allow unprotected music from microsoft windows to play on you x box select yes then go to your xbox and find where it says windows media player and you'll have to download something it takes like a min then your free to play your music. If you have song files on your computer, all you would have to do is burn a CD with the desired song tracks. Then, you put the CD into the DVD drive of your Xbox 360 and will automatically upload them. However, only certain file types will be recognized by the Xbox 360. These include MP3, WMG, and MP4. So make sure they are formatted this way. If you don't have a CD burner, you can usually find some kind of free trial one on the internet (I'm pretty sure, but don't do something illegal lol). Hope this helped.The only way I know of is to put a cd in the xbox and download it to the hard drive. Also it wont be able to download all music formatsumm call micro soft cus idk
