What do you all think of this name?

I was wondering what everyone thinks of the name Bryony?
It means flower, but i dont know what kind of personality it portrays.
If anyone knows that would be great, and if you can think of some nicknames that would be great too

I like it. I would nickname her Bree. I picture a strong and outgoing person!

I don't personally like it. It sounds manly to me so I imagine a girl named Bryony to be loud and stocky and a bit of a tom-boy.

I think the name looks too much like "brier" and the name Byron.

If you want some more unique flower names, how about
Rosalinde
Amaranth (and it's many forms)
Alyssum/Alyssa

If you really want to stick with it though, I'd spell it Briony; that makes it a bit more legible (not too many ys) and looks a lot less like the boys name

I know a person called Bryony and she ruined that name for me because it reminds me of a rude, snobby, stuck up person =/

I quite like Bryony. The first time I heard it, I think it was in a book and I thought it was beautiful. It's very uncommon but still very pretty.

Its cute although I like it better spelled Brioni...or Brieoni because at first I thought it said Byron or bryon lol.
