so, i went for my dental check up and they did some x-rays.
i didn't remove my tongue piercing while they were doing the x-rays
and it appears that i have cavities.. they say its a lot of them too.
could it be a faulty x-ray due to my piercing
or do i really have cavities?!
what do i do about my cavities if i do have them?!the peircing doesnt mess with the xray it just shows up (eg if you had a bracelet on and they x rayed your wrist it would cover the bone in the image). you probly really do have cavities, you'll probably need fillings which is no biggie they can get white ones so they dont show. the image of a piercing metal is WAY different that a cavity appearance.....So you have cavities, then you need to get them filled and do what they tell you to, stop sodas, energy drinks, sport drinks, sugar gum, snacks, and floss and brush DAILY...ewww take the piercings out
thats grossnot really sure what effect it might have on the x ray it wouldn't show cavities if it would be an issue with the x-ray, it woulsd have cause the x-ray to be like.... like when you take a picture of a mirror and you have the flash on... #If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
