How far is Santa Monica from LA like driving distance and miles?Where in LA do you want to go. And where in Santa Monica are you? Being that La borders Santa monica you can walk two blocks and be in Los Angeles.it depend on what part of LA are you trying to get to
Ie are you trying to get to mar vista, ZWLA or downtown or venice
all those places are IN LASanta Monica is in Los Angeles. Where exactly in LA do you want to go? From the coast to downtown is about 16 to 20 miles right along the 10 freeway. In light traffic this would take about 20 - 25 minutes. In afternoon weekday traffic, it's probably at least an hour and a half.Santa Monica touches Los Angeles.I would use maps.google.com
