I got a DUI in L.A. The fine is 1500.00. How many days in county jail will cover the fine?

  • Aren't you going to get jail time anyway on top of that fine? You say you can't afford it, but can you afford the money you'd lose on account of being in jail instead of at work? If you tell them you can't afford the fine, the first thing they'll do is put a payment plan before you. Chances are if you don't pay, they'll just increase the fine and possibly still throw you in jail for it.
